For lips this spring I’m loving sheer, candy colored glosses and vivid, bright lipsticks. Here are my current favorite lip glosses of the season. My lipstick picks coming up soon!
Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain in Cherish:
I love these Revlon Balm Stains. They have a really smooth application and minty fragrance. They are very pigmented with a nice sheen and they last quite a while on the lips. Cherish is my favorite shade I’ve tried so far. It’s a lovely bright pink with a hint of lavender. It’s much brighter in person than it is in the picture. The chubby crayon is also fun to apply!
LORAC Couture Shine Liquid Lipstick in Haute:
This is the perfect pale, pastel pink gloss. It’s similar to NARS Turkish Delight but it’s much more pigmented, which I prefer. This gloss is so creamy and opaque and smells like vanilla ice cream. It has a brush applicator and you get a lot of product for your money. This is one pink gloss that is always in my bag.
Armour Beauty Opaque Lip Gloss in Candy:
I’m obsessed with this pastel lavender gloss. It’s super opaque and creamy and the color is so wearable, much more flattering than the picture shows. This just screams spring. It also smells like an orange dreamsicle. YUM. My friend Shay sent this to me as a little gift and it’s become one of my go-to lip colors.
YSL Volupte Sheer Candy Glossy Balm Crystal Color in #4 Succulent Pomegranate:
These glossy lip balms are my favorite indulgence. They are pricey ($32 each!) but the stunning packaging, hydrating formula, beautiful colors and mango fragrance make it worth the money to me. #4, pictured above, is a sheer, bright reddish pink. In person the color is much brighter than the picture shows. So pretty and juicy.
YSL Volupte Sheer Candy Glossy Balm Crystal Color in #9 Cool Guava:
#9 is my favorite of the YSL Sheer Candy collection. It’s a gorgeous, shimmery pale pink. This is one I will keep buying. Also, friends of mine with a variety of different skin colors have tried this and it looks amazing on everyone. I find this surprising since it’s so light but it really does look gorgeous on ALL skin tones! These are such a pleasure to apply. They go one like butter and the packaging makes me happy.
Have you tried any of these shades? What are your spring lip gloss picks?
